Central Illinois | I have a 2015 Timpte with Thunderstone power tarp. This issue is closing the tarp (covering). It rolls evenly, front and back, until the last one foot or so. The front kind of stops forward progress, but the back keeps going as it should. Sometimes, the front will fall over the edge because of the slack but continues and locks down correctly. Other times, it doesn't fall over the edge and starts to roll back up on itself.
It isn't a motor issue or tarp issue. The tarp is equal distance when completely unrolled. It seems to be an issue with the front control arm springs. The tarp tube seems to lose grip on the rail as it unrolls and slips without advancing down the rail as it should.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. | |
