S.E. Iowa | My friend moved on at 12 40 AM last night. They called 10 minutes later and I was able to get there just after 1. He did one last thing after he died. He deeded his body to the University of Iowa a year ago last July. He was a Army veteran and was in Korea but did not see action. A very kind man that will be missed here. This fall he asked me what grade my 2 grandkids were in. I told him and didn't think nothing of it. A day or two later he came out with their school supplies. He had went home and looked up on the internet what they needed. He was supposed to go into Kings Daughters and Sons home but covid delayed that. I told him he could live with us if that didn't work.
