I came back from town yesterday to find no water in the house or cattle waterers. Turned out well pressure switch had decided to stop working. This switch is outdoors on my well top pressure tank. Fortunately the farm store in town was still open and had a 40/60 psi switch which I was able to install before dark.
Question: is a well pressure switch something you replace regularly or fix as fail? It may not always fail at a convenient time or when I’m out of town... This switch is probably 6 or 7 years old.
