A few pics of some cows and calves from the last couple of months. It's been a fantastic winter for pasture growth, mild temperature and plenty of rain. The cattle are in great condition and calves are growing like weeds. The last week was the coldest of the year and the last official week of winter. We had an Antarctic blast come through, dropped lots of snow in the mountains and even in the hills around here. No snow at my place but a bit of sleet and a couple of days of strong wind with the wind chill at freezing point. Back to frosty nights and shirt sleeve days now for the start of spring.
