Hooker Twp,Ne | Went to the foot doctor yesterday and got the green light from the doc. 2 years ago I started with a bad foot ulcer. It was a little over nickel round and way to the bone. Went to foot doc weekly and did what they said but it didn’t seem to get better. This went on for 6 months. The doc wanted to remove part of my foot. I didn’t like that idea so I told him I would like to try one thing for a couple of months. I started to apply manuka honey 15+ to keep the infection out. Also applied wheatgrass spray.. Did this nite and morning. Went to doc weekly and after two weeks the wound was getting smaller. Finally my doc visits were reduced to every two week, then one month, then two months, and now he only won’t to see me once every six months. I also bought a good pair of shoes and place two insoles with a hole cut out where my ulcer was to relieve any pressure from walking. The doc told me yesterday he is telling others now also to use wheatgrass spray on their sores. | |
