Subject: Charging Samsung phone

I've got a 2 1/2 year old Samsung Galaxy phone and I'm having trouble making the connection when I charge it.   Plug in and wiggle, then pull the cord to the right and make sure it stays there or it loses contact.   Yes, I've tried blowing out the dirt with air, no help.   Doesn't seem to matter which charger I hook up either, they all do.   Are the contacts just that worn on the phone or is there some magic trick?    As I said, I can't see any obstruction on the ends, and I've blown it out countless times with compressed cleaning duster air.    Thanks.
