| Looking at replacing a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a GM Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade. Have been looking at 2019-2020s. The GC is an Eco Diesel Summit so we have been looking at higher level vehicles with less than 30k miles. The 6.2 is standard in the Denali and Escalade. Is there anything wrong with the 5.3L and 6 speed combo in the Tahoe? I have read here where the 6.2L is the preferred engine but not sure if it is needed. Will probably keep this vehicle for a while. Will be a lot of highway driving and will have to haul 4 place enclosed snowmobile trailer to and from Northern WI. Also read where premium fuel is recommended for the 6.2L. Is this a requirement? Would love to buy a new one with the small Duramax but probably not going to happen. So what combo should I get and why? | |
