Subject: JD 9300 4wd poor/no steering

NW KS/ SC ID
Hey all,

My buddy has a John Deere 9300 4wd with around 4,000 hours and is having trouble with the steering.

It requires alot of input to get anything turning left, and is jerky turning right, but does require less turns to get it to turn than going left.

To my knowledge has no sort of autosteer valve, as the autosteer is done via JD ATU mounted to the column. Of course it errors out after trying to steer for a while and not aquiring the line.

Articulation joint greased daily, hyd. Oil full.

Hopefully unrelated, but a few weeks ago it blew the main high pressure hose under the cab that feeds the remotes. Shut down quick, didn't take a huge amount of oil to refill, so I doubt any pumps were starved.

Any input appreciated, thanks!
