I had to go to the doctor yesterday.  At the registration desk as I walked up the receptionist stuck a gun like device in my face and started asking me questions.  The interesting thing was she read my temperature and said 92°.  I have a device like the one she used and pointing it at different areas of your body will yield different temperatures, none of them the same as an oral thermometer.

How sick would you have to be for that device to register above 98.6°?  I wish I had asked at what point do they consider you having a temperature with that thermometer.
