Austin MN | We currently plant conventional corn in fall strip till. Wondering about changing up our chem program. Currently we do round up, 24-d for burn down for cover crops and a 1.5 pts of dual for residual. Then we come back with .75oz of impact, .5 lbs of atz and another pint of dual for more residual. I was wondering about adding 3-6oz of mesotrione pre and still spraying the impact post. I dont wanna give up the impact post cause I like the extra grass control we get. Just looking for another mode of action for residual against water hemp. Just was wondering if anyone has done this and had success with no concern for carry over or damaging the corn. I asked our amvac rep and he couldn't tell me and asked a local syngenta rep and he couldn't tell me. Hoping for some real world experience. Thanks. | |
