Had about a 3rd of a 25 acre field spend about 12 hours under about a foot and a half of water Sunday night after a 6+ inch rain in about 20 hours. Another 50 acres of later planted beans, got about 15 acres of those under but briefly aside from some ponding. The little guys look pretty good. The bigger ones that spent the night submerged are quite a bit rougher, but today I’m a little more optimistic that 80% or better will pull through and make something. Probably have to cut some of them a little high to avoid ingesting the piled up sand along the end rows.
Whaddaya think about these beans?
