The rock shaft is twisted. In the pictures one wheel hits the side wing frame and the other side there is a gap. Probably 2-3” off. We tried using the depth stop pin on one side to twist it back with hydraulics but that didn’t work. It would move to be even then spring back.
It seems that this is common issue since two posters suggested it yet when I searched past posts for the 3950 this issue never pops up.
So do we heat the tube now to get the twist out?
We have a 496 and never seen this issue. Never thought to check this when I looked it over before buying at the dealer. My dad and uncle were along and they didn’t see it either.
It’s odd that the transport pins were not installed when it was delivered 180 miles but makes sense now cause it takes two to install the pin as one had to hold the lever in the raise position to get the pin in.
