King City, Mo | So the wife helped me clean some popcorn yesterday and she’s thinks we need to update our process.
Have looked on and off at bigger screen Cleaners but feel that well still need a gravity table to get the popcorn clean enough.
Currently we’ve been screening it on a clipper 2B and then an Enhanced farm sized machine bucketing it out of probox or totes into the cleaner and then from
One cleaner to the next and hand screening it before bagging or boxing up.
Has anyone been around these cleaners that use air to blow the seeds to sort them?
I saw a Facebook ad for one place and then another brand on eBay that’s made in Ohio.
I can’t get excited to setup a bigger clipper and gravity table for a semi load or so of popcorn. Had a guy who was going to clean ours last year but wouldn’t pull off wheat and rye when we needed to start getting it cleaned to fill orders and then never called us to do the rest over the winter. So looking more at our own larger setup.
Not ready to buy this instant just researching options.
