WC MN | Another seemingly problem for our commodities is that they seem to have fallen out of favor with traders. Last spring we had the worst planting conditions ever and we basically stayed in our trading range. Meanwhile we have record unemployment and the stock markets are not so far away from all time highs. It seems like their is probably easier money to be made. Now we have seen a commodity go negative, that doesn't help either.
Just a few thoughts. My guess is traders will want to be short until that position can be consistently proven wrong with the exception of small seasonal windows. | |
