Emporia, KS | My uncle has an old 854 Rogator with an EZ steer, EZ boom and an EZ-guide 500. It worked well for several years. Had to replace the T2 with a reman one and it's constantly getting a com error and makes the booms cut out. Found an old defective one, says it would overheat randomly, even though it wasn't. It doesn't kick off the booms so I have him set up with that. Also the motor slips really bad on the steering wheel, I think because it seems kind of hard steering.
Are there any other options that will work with the EZ Boom? Or even work with the EZ Guide? Like the EZ Pilot? Is that compatible with the 500? What are some options that don't cost more than an 854 Rogator. LOL | |
