How do you guys figure the price of standing hay? Had one of my landlords call me about a small hay field and asked if I would like to cut it. Mainly grass hay with some gopher mounds in it. Just wondering if there is a rule of thumb out there for it or even a place to begin as to how I should price it as he asked me what I would give him for it.
