| Hey Guys,
I live in Northwest Oklahoma where our biggest crop is Hard Red Winter Wheat. I just thought I would share some pictures of Oklahoma States new experimental wheat. It is a Hard Red Winter Wheat that behaves like a Hard Red Spring Wheat. They said it was bred for late planting. It is a good option to plant late behind a fall crop like Soybeans or Milo in November or December. They said it can be planted all the way into the Middle of February. They said that if you planted it in September or October it would be ready to Harvest in the Middle of May. The numbered Wheat in the pictures is the experimental variety I am talking about. They told me it was planted on December 5th. They said it looks good and they think it will be the first one they Harvest this year. They hope to release it this year.
Thank you,
