| I had a soils test done on a 40 ac field of silty clay loam that I rent and notill: OM-4%, Bray P1-22ppm, K-99ppm, Mg-398ppm, Ca-1,434ppm, Buffer pH-6.9, CEC-11.8. Base saturations K-2.2%, Mg-28.3%, Ca-59.6, H-9.9%. My questions are in regards to very high Mg levels. Do very high Mg levels matter? Is it worth the effort and expense to obtain the "magic" saturation ratios or is it just having the adequate ppm of each element? | |
