Subject: treating and reversing osteoporosis

Pittsburg, Kansas

One of my new favorite doctors, Dr Paul Mason. Wife perked up when he started talking about this subject. She does not have it (that we know of) but is of the age and has a family history of it on mothers side. He studies hundreds of research papers, not only the latest research but stuff 50 and hundred years old forgotten studies. Wide ranging interview with a bunch of other info other than osteoporosis.

One key takeaway. Don't short protein. We think of bones being made of calcium but the lattice is actually made of protein and excess calcium in the bloodstream without the adequate protein means new bone cells can't develop and the calcium goes places we don't want it (like arteries). Very long interview but gives him a chance to talk about nuances of diet that don't always get in his formal presentations.
