Pierce county WI | Ethanol isn't going to be competitive with oil for quite some time. Meanwhile, as a consumer I want lower prices to offset my lower income. So I'm supposed to cheer for higher input costs when demand for gasoline and the required blend is down. Cheap crude is going to at least get me cheaper fuel and fertilizer. Do you think that once the government says it's ok you don't have to blend ethanol, they will just say nevermind if oil goes back up? Just curious what I need to hope for? | |
