NC Iowa | So this is a big question. Eplants are closing. Corn demand for ethanol is less. A lot of ddgs not available for feed. Corn is still needed. Soybean meal subbing ddgs. How much corn won’t be needed but how much more meal will be needed. My past experience raising hogs farrow to finish. Artsway grinder/mixer. Used 40% protein corn mix. 325-400# 40%. The rest corn. Old school by today’s standards. Out of touch with feed use. TIA | |
