NE Indiana | I'm in the process of piecing together my own base station. I previously inquired about antennas and appreciated the responses. I ended up with a Laird fiberglass omni directional antenna and some heavy duty LMR400 cable.
I'm now looking for a transmitter at my base and receivers for each of my vehicles. The antenna is on a 60ft tower and I'm looking to reach up to 5 miles. Any recommendations for low cost 900mhz radios?
