I’m just finished up part of sticking it to the packer. They will no longer be able to make money off my calves next year.
Ripped out the fence and going to hay the ground instead.
I truly believe that in four years calves are going to be worth something. Can name 4 people with in 5 miles that are reducing numbers. Sure there are a few expanding but as a hole I feel the herd is downsizing. Lots of baby boomers getting out of the business.
