sw ontario
Packers are considered "essential services" but if employees break with Covid 19 will everyone in that plant have to stay home in isolation? We ship to a smaller family owned plant & got the call yersterday that they will run as long as workers keep coming & they think if 1 employee breaks with it they will shut down...and he said all workers are "scared" .....on demand side some buyers putting in big orders others backing off....Remco if u read this ,Where does your hogs go? Conestoga & Sofina could easily handle extra hogs from small plant but if either of them go down IDK what we would do ....and for many prok guys 3 weeks would be the max. u could hold off not doing something with new pigs coming
