Mid Michigan | There is a really interesting website called jobspercar.com that does some research on all the automakers and all the models of cars to see how much american content is in each car and how many jobs are created by each model being built and how much US content is in each car. The reasearch company is called www.levelfieldinstitute.org. Lots of factors on how many local jobs are created by companies. Really easy to put cars in and compare the content. Interesting statistic about Ford is 85% of the cars they sell in the US are made in the US. Toyota is only 16.3% of the cars they sell here are made here. The jobs created per car on the F-150 are over double what they are on the Tundra. I don't know why they don't push this website more so people can at least see who makes what where. I found it through a newspaper arcticle my mother gave me the other day.
