My laptop with Windows 10 installed an update yesterday now today chaos!

I was successful logging into my Microsoft account.

Desk top icons all rearranged and the majority are missing.

Can’t discover a device plugged into USB port despite drivers updating for that particular program. 

I miss the old XP days of plug and play!!!

When our iPhones and iPads install updates much less confusion than Microsoft update.

Considering switching to Mac book.
