Nicollet, MN | I was using a White 6144 tractor on a six row stalk chopper. The gear box broke lose so I stopped the PTO. After looking over the damage to the chopper, I tried driving the tractor home. I had no power steering or hydraulics. When I disconnected the PTO I realized the PTO shaft would not turn. It's in the shop now and they say the shaft that drives the PTO also drives the pump and that's why everything is out.
Did I cause this? Or is it just dumb farmer's luck? | |
