Subject: Continued problems obtaining speed reading Raven 440 controller

Nc Ks.
Sent controller to ag express who replaced key pad and said controller checked out ok. Went from having no speed reading on controller to having real erratic readings after they fixed it. Figured wheel speed sensor was bad, Went to local Raven dealer and bought a sensor 1 I believe the name was, gps puck that was suppose to work on my controller. The paper showed the number 586 to use as speed cal. entry. Using that number gave a reading of 600+ mph. Kept backing it down all the way to 6 which showed a matching speed at 5.5 mph to my tractor speedometer and guidance system monitor. But as I increased tractor speed, controller speed would get way off. I've got the magnetic puck on top of a fiberglass tractor roof on a stuck on little metal disk. Does this have to be grounded? Or what else could be wrong?
