I like spreadsheets. Have used them since I had Visicalc on a Radio Shack Model III computer in 1983. It is only natural to help decide if we wanted to take prevented plant or plant late to develop a couple spreadsheets to help us make that decision and be able to play "what if" with it.

My son uses them to help his seed customers make the same decisions.

After we built these templates it got me to wondering if anybodies insurance agent used the same tools to help customers make the PP versus late plant decision. Same question could be asked to evaluate different levels of coverage and such before the March 15 decision deadline for changing coverage.

Is you agent providing you with additional help to make these decisions besides just talking about different options?
