In our area, the high school hybrid corn detasseling crews usually have their training before the Fourth of July because they quite often are in the fields during the holiday weekend. There is hardly any seed corn around over beer can height this year. The forecast ahead is cloudy, wet, and cool. Is this somewhat typical in other seed growing areas?
