Kendall County, IL | I have an early 3406E 5EK with 350 hp in a semi tractor. I'd like to safely and reliably increase the power of the engine to something like 475 hp to make it more drive-able on busier, fast paced roads. So, my research indicates that I probably need pistons, injectors, a bigger turbo, ecm re-flash, and possibly a cam. I will be doing this work in my shop but I definitely want to use CAT parts that are used at this power level in a factory setup. Does anyone have CAT oem part numbers for the parts listed above to achieve 475 hp? Thanks! And yes, the rest of the driveline will components will be upgraded as needed. Also, an overhaul was done about 200k ago so the top end and bottom end are probably ok for now.
