Subject: Can't get off of old corn rows

eastern sd
Planting beans in no till corn stalks trying to split the old corn rows with 16r30 planter and fm750 with rtk. I planted this field last year with same setup, this year had to change draft by 1" from last year to keep planter true. When I started I shifted last year's line by 15", in about 4 rounds I'm on top of the old rows. I can understand that changing draft from year to year may cause this but once I'm on top of the old rows it stays on them for the entire field. Have had this happen in several fields. I don't mind running down the rows for a pass or two but how can it stay this way the entire field?
