Central Ohio | Had quite a few late emergers in a corn field. Started digging. Found that in every case the late emergers looked something like the pictures. And kept digging and was able to find seed trench was not closed all the way down.
This is with kinze factory rubber wheels. What causes this? Some rows worse than others. Planting conditions were pretty good in fairly Sandy loam.
Recommendations?
