| I asked, “ Are your wheels turning.”
If you were one of the responders....could you please update the information you shared on that day.
Here in SE Minnesota I finished SB planting on June 2. The last field was a 16 acre wet hole with straight rows...... It was worked a week earlier and I hoped the crust that had formed would help hold me up ......at least around the edges of the wet spots.
I was able to keep the rows straight......but many times The planter was out of the ground to keep moving forward. Consideration was given to the direction of travel........ With 2 significant hills in the field I wanted to be headed downhill when I hit this particular wet spot. Just happy to be finished.
Local seed supplier said that all the remaining inventory of shorter maturity corn hybrids had been shipped to other parts of the country. | |
