western mn | Maybe a dumb question, and maybe already asked and I missed it, but now that prevent plant is in play for us on some corn ground, and a cover crop is needed, my question is does last year's corn stalks that never got worked qualify? It's just to wet to work them yet, so they are still in place... we've got a few more days of beaning yet, so I figured why not ask, maybe they have qualified in some instances, if not, then someday when the frost finally goes out and it dries, then I will have to work them and spread some oats or sorghum, haven't plowed down sorghum for many years, all I can remember is keeping the radiator clean...
