I know you use pins 2, 3, and 5 for serial NMEA communication. Does Insight put power out on Pin 1 of the DB9? In reality, you could use a regular male/female serial DB9 cable on a EZ Guide 500 to insight if you eliminated that powered pin from the serial cable?
