Subject: Bathroom sink

Gettysburg, PA

As you may have noticed from a previous thread, I am working on a bathroom renovation. Wife wanted to replace a pedestal sink with a vanity sink. Of course that resulted in a bunch of other stuff: wainscoting removed, plaster work, painting, plumbing changes and a new toilet. Anyway, finally got done to the sink.  I didn't realize until all was installed that the sink doesn't have the overflow hole. Is that normal now?
