Southeast Colorado | The wire to the sender was broke. So I put it back together and still no go. Check for voltage on the wire with it unhooked from the sender and there is nothing. Do you reckon the gauge itself is burned up? I assume that's where the voltage comes from as it seeks out a variable ground through the sender?? Perhaps it is fused or has a circuit breaker, but the test light lights up on every post on the side dash with the key on. I'm not exactly sure how the dash or more particularly the temp gauge is energized. | |
