De Forest, WI | 20 acre field of cereal rye missed 2-4-D spring window. Rye is all at boot stage or headed out. Called yesterday and made sure they were not coming. Said nope too late.
They showed up today and sprayed it with a high float rig. Ran down a lot. 2-4-d is not allowed after boot until grain is set and done. Label says will result in yield reduction.
What is co-ops liability? Just the spray or the yield loss as well. This was intended to be sold as cover crop seed. Is that even possible now? | |
