Yetter Down Pressure Spring Adjustment

Subject: Yetter Down Pressure Spring Adjustment


Northwest ohio		We have a John Deere 7000 planter with the Yetter down pressure springs trying to get the adjustment bar in correct. It is able to bounce and pop out away from the stop and fall down towards the gauge wheels. Doing so they no longer provide any down pressure. Are the springs worn or do we have something totally out of adjustment? Thanks.
