If anyone has some familiarity with those combinations perhaps you could help us.

Better tell the whole story so you know how we got in this predicament
Got my wife a new Rebel camera at Christmas because the old one had some issues.
Had a family trip planned for March to celebrate an anniversary.

Since late April I have heard my wife grumbling and using strong language about her computer and some photos she could not find.
She was trying to put together a photo book from our holiday and had pictures from all the family but was sure her pictures were not in the group of photos.

No planting today and I was on my computer and had to listen to strong language again and so she finally allowed me to 'help' her find those lost photos on her computer.
Neither of us are IT specialists as we have kids that step in to solve our problems but somehow after trying to download her missing photos she came up with a file that had the pics and indicated they had been downloaded early April but where in heck were they to be found on her computer if we left that recent downloads file that had them in it and she swore they were not there before she tried downloading them again this aft.
Much head scratching and trying to find individual files with no luck but they were in recent downloads in PHOTOS
Then she mentioned the date was wrong on a pic we were checking for an image number to search for it as it was dated March 8, 2018

IDEA!!, lets look in Photos under 2018 not 19 and there were the photos.
Sun, water and beach pictures mixed in with snow pictures.
Expect the wrong year was set in camera so now we have a bunch of pictures dated wrong.

Can anyone give me a simple lesson in changing the date on those pictures OR are they slated to always be the wrong date?

At least she has the needed pics to finish the book but I hear mumbling about pics that should have been back a few pages earlier in the book.
