Subject: Corn crop insurance

Douglass Kansas

Got most of the corn planted in April in good conditions. Have had up to 14" of rain since then and lots of flooding. Have some field that the whole field needs to be replanted while others have large areas that need replanted. It is predicted to rain around 10" here this week, if this happens might loose the rest of the the corn in the riverbottom.

What is the crop insurance rules with collecting on corn crop and then planting to different crop. Different crop would be soybeans, milo, or sunflowers. Would the soybeans be able to be insured as double crop?
