Subject: Cummins M11 blow by

Have a 2004 Versatile 2290 with a Cummins QSM11 engine. This tractor is new to me this year and have noticed it looses oil after running it under a full load. It lost about a gallon after a day of running and it appears to be blowing oil out the crankcase breather. I noticed oil residue on the inside tire next to this breather. When it’s running in the yard there is some blow by but not sure if it’s excessive. It must obviously be a lot more under load.
What can I do to diagnose my problem? Can a turbo issue cause this? Just hoping I don’t have bad piston rings or other real issues.

Tractor has 5700 hrs
