Subject: Too many irons in the fire,.......

Never can have enough irons! Third week of Branding together. Four ranches and five brands, we run together year round. Been together since late 1800's. So we got to keep making it work together. We hit every Saturday together, then brand during the week at home places, between farming and other stuff. Our cook has been faithfully cooking for us since 1977 or so. He can get at little cantankerous at times. But we would be lost without him.

One more branding together, then two days to trail these cows 20 miles into Idaho. We bunch cattle every weekend in a different location on over 100,000 acres. So it take a little time to get them all branded. Some don't get branded until fall.
