Subject: Seeding a dry lot.

NE, NE
Recently I saw a post about an individual wanting to seed his dry lot down for the summer and graze it in the fall till it’s a drylot again. I can’t seem to find the discussion but I have a lot and about 2 acres of pasture that I sacrificed that will need something for cover, but I am undecided what’s best. Will a cover “clean” the bugs out of the lot or just make it softer for next mud season? Feeder lot till January then 1st and 2nd calves come home.
