Earlton Ontario | I have 1000 acres 2 miles from a lake and am wondering if an irrigation system would be profitable. I'm in northern climate growing everything. barley, corn, canola, soys, wheat, flax.........
Our biggest problem is too much water in the spring hence, everything must be tiled at 50'................Would I see enough benefit from irrigation system in those hot dry summer spells like when crops flowering etc?????
What does it cost to install and operate irrigation????
Can I pump water a couple miles????? | |
