-North Mo | Sometimes as you are browsing the web one runs across a bull sale with some interest - 250 miles distance. Making the trip to get a bull or 2 is no problem, making the trip just to find you are out of your league or paying stupid price because you are desperate due to the trip and time - neither is profitable.
I believe in buying breeding stock according to epds/DNA, but I also understand there are snakes and sharks in all aspects of all businesses - Conventional wisdom tells me epds and video should be backed by onsite personal review. Also know if a snake is among us, 2 hrs arrival prior to sale start to visual review 12-15 bulls it's hard to really know much on visual observation. AND 30-120 seconds in the sale ring is not much time to make the call.
Guess I'm trying to make the case to feel willing to drop 4-6,000 $ on a bull in a online auction in respect to video, epds, and satisfaction guarantee???
Has anyone been burned any worse online than in the seats? | |
