South Central IN | The tires on my 8/16 Kinze are worn to where there is no ridge left on either side of the tire. I know the gap in the tread is meant to prevent compaction on the interplant row that it passes over. A set of 4 new tires can be had for about $1,000. Local tire dealer says my old ones cannot be retread even though they are still in sound shape. Will the new tire with the groove improve stands significantly or should I keep running until the tire is shot? Your thoughts? Other aftermarket options? Thanks
