Cherokee County, Northwest Iowa | Can I spot weld a iron bracket which i have made to this value priced (cheap) caster wheel? It is not galvanized, but some kind of very nice, smooth, shiny chrome like finish, but am sure it isn't chrome. One friend said if I can strike an arc on it (using my
small, non-gas wire welder) - go for it. 2nd friend is concerned about fumes coming off of it. Won't be very long beads of welding, more like 4-6 spot welds/caster wheel frame. thanks. bruce
