Subject: Managing in a blizzard

Western Nebraska
Got a perfect tree windbreak on the north side of field. Winds supposed to be mainly straight out of north. But field is open for 1/2 mile to south. What’s best strategy to keep cattle from drifting with the wind? Planning on feeding heavy before dark. Will they want to go out in the wind and drift? Evergreen trees probably 40-50’ tall and thick. I’m hoping they won’t want to go out into wind.
Probably worst part is right in middle of calving, thinking they might wander off to calve
Any advice?
